PERMITS / AUTHORIZATIONS
Work Authorization Permit:
Necessary for contractors, utility providers, government agencies and intersecting road authorities, not engaged by Gateway Operations, who are requesting to perform services on the Route 1 Facility, as well as for any other third party requesting special access to the Route 1 Facility.
Highway Usage Permit:
Necessary for any party requiring access to the Route 1 Facility to erect, place, construct, develop, repair, maintain or operate ‘a work’ within the limits of the Facility. ‘A work’ may be a building, structure, wire, cable, line, transmission line, pole, track, pipe, pipeline, main, aqueduct, sewer, conduit, device, equipment, sign, trail, parking lot, etc.
