Traffic Advisory – Lane Reduction – Eastbound at km marker 40 – Digdeguash Bridge Structure

Gateway Operations wishes to advise the public that beginning Monday, July 15, 2019, eastbound traffic over the Digdeguash bridge structure at km marker 40 of Route 1 will be merged into a single lane to accommodate bridge maintenance activities. The lane reduction is scheduled to remain in place until September 30, 2019.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Traffic Advisory – Temporary Traffic Changes – Main Street Viaduct

Gateway Operations wishes to advise the public that beginning Thursday, May 9th, 2019, northbound traffic on the Main Street Viaduct will be temporarily redirected to the southbound lanes, with traffic in both directions being divided by delineators.  As a result, the westbound on-ramp at Exit 122 will also be closed with detour signage in place to direct traffic to Route 1.  These temporary changes will remain in place for approximately 4 months and are required as maintenance work continues on the bridge deck.  Pedestrians should also note that foot traffic may also be impacted.

Traffic Advisory - Lane Reductions – Mill Street Underpass

Gateway Operations wishes to advise the public that beginning Monday, April 22, 2019, the Mill Street Underpass (commonly referred to as the Main Street Viaduct) will have traffic lanes reduced in both directions for approximately 4 - 5 months.  The lane reductions are necessary as bridge crews work to complete deck maintenance.  Pedestrians should also make note that foot traffic may also be impacted from time to time.
